The Pixel 8 series features new upgrades and features compared to its predecessor. The Pixel 8 is smaller in size, thanks to a smaller 6.2-inch display and other design changes. It is powered by the new Samsung-made 4nm Google Tensor G3 chipset, which promises better performance and efficiency with less heat production. The display has a refresh rate of 120Hz and a peak brightness of 2,000 nits. The camera system includes a 50MP main camera and a new autofocus-enabled 12MP ultrawide snapper with a wider field of view. The battery capacity has increased to 4,575mAh, supporting 27W wired and 18W wireless charging. The Pixel 8 series also offers 7 years of OS and security updates. In terms of accessories, the retail box comes with user manuals, a USB-C to USB-C cable, and a USB-C to USB-A adapter, but no charger is included.
