Samsung has introduced a new search method for its Galaxy S24 family of phones, which starts by circling on the screen to search for information on the internet. The new Voice Recorder app, pre-installed with One UI 6.1 firmware, offers an advanced text transcription feature capable of distinguishing up to 10 participants in a meeting/group chat. This feature complements the audio recording and differentiates/groups the lines of each participant in the discussion. Samsung’s first AI phone, the Galaxy S24, is expected to use the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset to move processing effort to users’ devices, ensuring privacy in recorded and transcribed conversations. The Galaxy S24 Ultra also retains support for 10x Optical Zoom in Single Take capture mode. The company’s AI-driven innovations are expected to continue in the Galaxy S24 family of phones.
